WedCam started as a discussion between a couple about how it would be possible to have everyone they wanted to attend their wedding fit into a venue that would only seat 50.

Various options were discussed, but the one that kept coming to the forefront was to use the Internet.  After some further discussions and much research, it was decided that high quality cameras streaming live video over the Internet would be the solution, and so WedCam was born!

From that day WedCam has grown, and using leading-edge technology we can allow weddings to be viewed via the Internet by guests all over the world. Since the early developments many more features have been added, including the ability to record the event and view at a later date, an online planner, diary, Photo Album, Gift List and much more.

WedCam is growing fast and we hope to soon encompass the whole of the UK. If you are to be married in a venue that supports WedCam, you won't be disappointed!
